I am certain that a sequel will be comming in the near future after square finish the Final Fantasy series.

There are several possible stories that the sequel could be:

1.Ashley is hunted for his blood sin and has to find a way to get rid of it without killing him.

2.Guilderstern comes back very powerful someway and Ashley has to kill him (again,CHEESY SEQUEL ALERT!)

3.Ashley has to clear his name after he was accused of crimes he did not commit or the murder of Sydney and the Duke

4.The blood sin takes over ashley's mind and he goes power crazy and the player takes on the role of Callo in order to stop the end of the world

5.The blood sin causes ashley to lose his memory and he has to learn his skills and the powers of the blood sin, while re-gaining memories of his past

6.Ashley could be hunted by cultists to be brainwashed into being their leader

7.Sydney could return from the dead and hunt Ashley to reclaim his blood sin

8.All powerful Ashley has to save the world from the magical force that taken over LeaMonde

9.Callo is killed and Ashley seeks to avenge her death

10.The stress gets too much and Ashley wants to end his life but cant, so he has to find a way to die painlessly

Thats all i could think of, i hope square get their acts together and come up with a sequel soon!
