Guess I will have to clear up this one. First off any rumor as to the speed at which I run is grossly overestimated and untrue, as such rumors have always been.

I started running again two months ago and am having quite the time getting back into decent mileage. Yet to be over 40mpw, but doing only 5 or so runs a week. Shins have been hurting and achilies a bit too. Do one hill workout a week, 9 by arb hill continuous loop, and try and stay on the area trails as much as possible.

I spent a weekend at a cabin for some trail running, mostly this gastly difficult ridge trail, something out of a torture chamber. Its only like two plus miles of uphill climb, but i've never made it up without walking. Never been there fit either though, but its damn fun to try, your heart feels like its going to pound its way right through your sternum, pretty sweet.

If I can quit work or somehow get my mileage up I might be on the track next spring.

Keep banging lads,

Carney
