This is my second time on your site, first time with Reid, and I read the comments on CIAU and now everyone is trashing the system and runners in the CIAU. I think that sometimes runners don't want to go south and everyone has their own reasons. This is my first year at Guelph, and I have enjoyed my year alot. Running with guys on the team has made me stronger, faster, and running with Peter Sullivan, Reid, Bendo, and many other has taught me about racing and peaking at the right times. Dave Scott Thomas is a great coach, and I am glad that I stayed in Canada and choose Guelph for my own reasons. My last two year in high school I was top 10 in Ofsaa xc both years, and I didn't make our top seven here at Guelph. I helped our 4x800m team to a CIUA silver metal, and earned an All-Canadian status with three of my teamates. A successful season, many might not think so. Not making the CIAU champion mens team with having ok results at Ofsaa, but next fall is going to be that much sweetier if I get to run with six other guys, and who have trained just as hard as anyone else in North America, and all have the same goal to win another CIAU xc men's team gold. So I am a runner that is good 4:01 1500m, 1:53 800m, not great, just waitng for my turn for that breakout race, where I might turn some heads, here in Great White North.
Peace
