Subject: My lotion has shea butter and silk in it. I just switched to it but have not used it on my face so don't know how it works for wrinkles! Emu oil or straight shea butter is good for wrinkles and revitalizing and healing skin, as well as dry skin. I have a friend who has the problem with fragrances turning funny on her skin. she loves butterscotch and I made her some butterscotch soap, but it smelled nasty on her skin so she just used it to make the bathroom smell good! As far as dry skin, the glycerin soaps are supposed to be good for dry skin, but it also depends a lot on the climate. During the winter here, nothing helps my dry skin except the lotion bars, because of the dry air. I could send you a couple of small samples of unscented soap to try. My dermatologist told me I should only bathe once a week because of my dry skin! EEEWWW, I can't live without my morning shower.
In reply to: Martina 's message, "Two questions Colly: Do you have a lotion for tired skin that makes small wrinkles disappear? (Well, getting to that age now*g*) And, do you also make soap without soap... um... ph-neutral? I can only use neutral shower gel for my skin, or it dries out no matter how much moistureising it is, and soap starts to smell like sour milk on my skin after a few minutes. I know it is odd.*lol*" on 07:42:25 04/22/03 Tue

[> [> [> I think I have the typical T-skin-problem, meaning my face is not dry in form of a T over my forehead and down the nose. The rest tends to be dry. The face creme I use right now has green tea in it and chamomile. If I use something else on my face I get red super-dry itchy spots around the eyes! It drives me nuts. Hey, I would love to have some samples, but I think it costs a fortune to send stuff over here, right? So don´t bother if it is going to be expensive. I can´t take a bath either, I would rub my skin off afterwords! Only oil based bath I can use. Shower is okay though, only soaking in water kills my skin. -- Martina, 13:01:19 04/23/03 Wed
