That is exactly how I have always felt abou the Bible...it is merely a collection of stories and to me, the validity of those stories, after being told and retold I'm sure countless times before they were ever recorded....well, you know how a story can be changed. It is more a collection of stories, especially the Old Testament. Many of them are beautiful stories, some are gory, some are fantasies. The poetry of the Psalms is hard to excel.
