The favorite girl actually spoke up to the stepmom and said that she is too hard on them etc. I think that had more effect than anything I would have said. I asked them if they thought writing a letter would help and they were like NO please dont do that. She will know we talked to you. I offered to let them read what I wrote but we never got to it. They said she is trying very hard to ease up and be nicer. They both agreed to this. I saw it for myself too.
They said their dad talked with them and said SM is trying, and she sometimes takes stuff out on them but that she loves them. I asked the girls if they feel loved, and they said yes, but they dont tell me the good stuff, just the bad. So I feel a whole lot better, and they dealt with it themselves!!
