Subject: Oh Thank you Jeannine, of course I wasn't thinking anything bad of you, how could I ? I came here just to lurk and see that you all had posted a nice little word for my special day. I'm the one who felt bad for not checking on my birthday. You know it's not a question of adaptation, in 13 years of marriage we moved 9 times and I did fine >>> inside>>>
In reply to: Jeannine, hugs and hope!! 's message, "Dear Isabelle, I didnt see somehow, that you wrote more in the first message. I HOPE you didnt think I was being totally obnoxious when I replied to your birthday post! I had no idea you were hurting!! I DO understand! Somehow, though, I was given a gift to be able to adapt easily to changes in my life. I know it isnt always that way for others as with my DH. If there is anything I can do, please dont hesitate to ask" on 19:37:04 05/21/03 Wed

and that include a move in a foreign country for 3 years. But I guess I had it easy financially for most of the times, (even when I thought it wasn't) so suddenly I have to cope with a place which is a stepdown for our lifestyle but all we can afford in this crazy NY suburb. Trying to cope with being close to my in laws, feeling a bit under pressure, like never doing right no matter what, and feeling a bit ignored at the same time, so I suddenly felt so alone in the world with my husband gone all the time and me and my girls spending weeks without talking to an other grown-up. I know I sound like a spoiled child, but it's been tough and it will take time. I mentioned my sister in law taking me out for lunch on my birthday because I was really touched, it's the first time someone do something for me since I moved here 5 months ago. And most of all, I miss the sun, the heat and the west coast... (and when I went through Arizona, I loved it, I could have spend my life in Sedonna).

[> [> [> sniff sniff, I still do almost cry about Arizona. I understand about the financial part!! We gave up our house, a nice vehicle, and had to live WITH my inlaws who are OCD and have 3 huge dogs that get treated better than I did, or my DD for that matter. I also found that people in AZ werent as friendly. I was very lonely when we first moved there. Thats when I met all the NH people on line here. That was strange!! We moved back to this area and my parents moved down to FL, and I had finally just learned that I truly appreciate them. They are so busy having fun that I only get a call from them about 1x per month!! Both times I have been saved by the internet and the people I found here! I also found that working helped me, even though I was upset to have to work, (DHs job wasnt all he thought it would be) So come lay your head lass!! -- Jeannine, 02:36:38 05/24/03 Sat
