Subject: Hi Sweetie :-). I am soo sorry for you! But like Lissa said: Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING *g*, happens for a reason :-) We may not see it at the mo, especiall when its something supposedly "bad". I just got a refusal (that the right word?) for a job I applied for. Of course, I've been disappointed, because it sounded pretty good and the interview went really good. So, I was even more diappointed! But What the heck! - something else will come along, something much better. And send your orders to the cosmic order service ;-) Just bear in mind, that you have to be VERY specific and that you have to let it go afterwards. AND be careful what you order, you might get it *vbg*

[> [> Hi Betsy! How do you feel after the operation??? Is all like you had imagined? Did you feel the Reiki an energy we sent? Was it helpful? Okay, end of quiz.*g* -- Martina, 16:00:36 06/10/03 Tue

[> [> [> I'm feeling pretty well, Martina. Thanks for asking. And yes, it was very clear that I had a lot of Reiki/prayers/energy speeding my way. *S* If anyone missed my thankyou, I will repeat it here....THANK YOU ALL. The surgery went well. I was expecting to bounce back much quicker, but as my husband is fond of reminding me, I am no longer 30. I went back to work this weekend and although I was exhausted, I feel fine. The first two weeks were pretty rough, but after that I saw improvement each day. The people at work say they see a huge difference already, but I don't. I do feel better than before the surgery, though. -- Betsy, 01:27:58 06/11/03 Wed

Your surgery involved something with reducing your stomach which would help you to eat less? My sister who has been around 250lbs for at least the last 13 years just recently told me that she is thinking about a surgery involving stapling her stomach as she referred to it. Don't know if that is the same thing that you did. I would appreciate so much if you would email me to tell me some of the things you experienced after the surgery, what food restrictions you might have now and generally what she might expect. Thanks so much!!!
