For those that are interested, Bean has hip displasia, it is not to bad yet, but getting there.

still, we feel it was not acceptable for her to growl at me the way she did. she has not done in since and is being so good. I am restablishing myself as her alpha leader and its going well. she is just so good and this is not like my bean. she is a sweet, sweet girl with a lot of emotional problems and baggage. she is coming out of her shell. after 4 years she is warming up to house guest that I have been having. robs father could not get close to her but his GF made friends with bean within an hour. she was so loving to her and affectionate and happily wiggiling her butt. the month before my cousins were here and she also warmed to them instantly. its men she does not trust as a man abused her but she is doing so good.

I have her on synovi G3 for the hips and rimadyl as needed but she seems to not need it so I am just taking it easy with her but as she ages this will become a definate issue with her hips. breaks my heart. its all about bad breeding and not health testing and bad genetics.

I do love this girl regardless of all her problems and I do feel bad for her after all she has been through but as cesear milan say's dogs live in the NOW, So do not dwell on her past, they sure don't:)
