It shouldn't hurt. In the sport I'm doing you are either standing in the stirrups or "posting" a trot, neither puts you on your butt bones. I'm arthritic and the only real pain I had was from camping, sleeping on the ground on my bad shoulder. Now THAT hurt!

Hoping to enter a 25 mile LD either Sept. or Oct.
