Well, before then, actually. Before he was born, I brought one of the girl's dolls into the house and would carry it around like it was a baby, lay it on the bed, etc. Then when Titus was born I took a receiving blanket to the hospital and wrapped Titus in it, brought it home and wrapped the doll in it. I let Butler sniff, but taught him to be gentle.

When Titus started jabbering, I started having him give Butler commands, although Titus had no clue what he was doing. But Butler understood. Now Butler will do anything Titus says. It's really cute to watch.

Of course, I would never leave Cameron alone on the floor with Butler - just for common sense reasons. My hand was actually on Cameron's leg. Looks like in the one pic they're wresting, but Cameron had actually forced himself to fall over trying to reach Butler.
