Does it matter? It's not up to you anyway and even if you think you're doing the Site Guru a favour, I doubt this subtle sucking up will be working.

Please. Do. Whilst I do agree with you on some points, you're going about it the wrong way. Comments on a man's testicles isn't the same as telling that man you're annoyed/amused by the amount of people sucking up to him - your wording reminded me of Mysterious_Creature's foul language in reference to Heywood on the previous board.

Of course I have some sympathy for you about GAFF not being the same as it was when you first discovered it, but perhaps you shouldn't have been lurking all that while and participated, been an unoffical moderator and such. As it is, people change, sites change and you've arrived too late for anything to be done about it and to be quite honest, I like the people on this board, even if you have hinted strongly that you don't. Opinions differ, deal and stop harping on about it. You had your chance to stay and influence people, instead, unfortunately, you're giving the impression of a giant and impossible to burst ego.

I get the feeling you have delusions of grandeur, but at the same time, I also get the feeling you're wording your posts in such a way to make us think that and you're hoping for your own amusement, that we will respond to it in such a fashion.

It's interesting to watch.

Oh and because I couldn't care less about a spammer (which is what you have been doing), I'm not going to even bother giving my opinion on your proposed solutions, in the end it's not up to you and to clarify, I would say the same to anyone if they were posting in the same way.

I will watch this thread with increased amusement - I used to be the sender AND receiver of such comments/arguments in the past, much fun and it's actually quite refreshing to watch instead of being the main participant!

Apologies for potentially bumping this topic. I assure you all, I hope this to be my first and last post in this topic.
