With that said, the degree I believe needs to be revamped. The current ATC degree requires some really stupid course work. ISBE320 is a complete joke of a class, no one (not even the instructor) takes it seriously, and it add zero to my "personal well roundedness". I do not need to know how to create a business plan to be an ATCer.

Add to that MGMT 305, yet another waste of 3 credits. This class, while vaguely useful to help us determine how management is structured, will help me none in my career. It spends most of its time discussing the different theories of management. Why I needed to know this, I still dont know. The list goes on of other classes that I think are pretty pointless but those are the two main offenders that pop to mind.

When/if the department goes to revamp the degree, I might suggest adding PEXS 320: Fitness for life. Considering that we HAVE to retain a medical for the length of our career, it might be a good idea to know how to take care of your body and mental self.
