Subject: RTF Info and other things

I'm in RTF right now for S46 (Seattle TRACON) and our instructors told us that RTF will be going pass/fail after the first of the new year. So this means to be ready for a harded course that cannot be tailored to your needs like they do now.

Also there are talks of bringing back FAM Trips. As of two weeks ago the TSA, FAA, Homeland Sec., and airlines are in talks to do so.

Also if you are going enroute in the future look at not coming down to OKC, Raytheon has won the bid for out souring training it. From what I've heard this means that all training, i.e. classwork, non-radar, sims...will be done at the facility but this is brand new info so take it with a grain of salt.
