As far as the classes go, you spend 4 hours a day in flight service class and 4 hours in weather class. The flight service portion is extremly easy if you have a flying and atc background. The weather portion is more difficult but isnt too bad either as long as you pay attention in class and study. The Flight Serivce class had 3 tests and a final I believe with a 70 passing score for each. The Weather portion had several tests used by lockheed to see how your doing and 3 national weather service tests. The national weather service tests are timed and the first is 100 questions on all sorts of weather knowledge. The second is on interpreting satallite imagry. The third is on interpreting weather radar. There is only 1 flight service station in MN and thats in Princeton. Note that the satallite sites like Princeton for the most part only do preflight weather briefings which for some can get very repetative. The satallite sites do have one inflight position, but out of say 15 positions your not likely to get it a lot. The Hubs like DC, Ft Worth, and Presscott on the other hand have 4 positions you can work which are flight data, preflight, inflight, and flight watch. Its nice to be able to rotate between different jobs throughout the day.
