Galactic 123 Remake on November 2011
The initial episode of the videogame Galactic 123, "The Mission", released on February 9, 2011, was received poorly, despite it having around a million plays worldwide.
Apparently the Galactic 123 team decided to try again, and for this, they are remaking the game and the game's engine, hoping for many episodes. They plan on re-releasing "The Mission" under the new engine too.
In an interview, Al (Galactic 123 producer) agreed that they had ruined the initial project. He stated that in the remake, the gameplay would be different. The remake will act more like an interactive movie with Anime characters, with "battle areas" between one scene/place and the next. Al stated that there will be a wider array of weapons available for unlocking, althought only six of them would be carried at a time, with the possibility to make changes to the arsenal between battles. "The only really necessary weapon to win will be the default laser gun that will always be there. Other items are totaly optional although they will certainly enhance Galactic 123 gameplay", stated Al.
The Galactic 123 remake videogame will also feature two main protagonists, placed in opposing sides of the conflict. "This way players will see the Galactic 123 world from a wider perspective and understand the plot better".
And finally, Al stated "No more endless waves of big mutant frogs. We learned the lesson."
