dude, i spent like, 8 hours yesterday struggling with my damn computer, and it all started just because i wanted to scan this picture.

see, my parents just got a new computer, so they gave me their old one, including the printer and scanner (which I didn't have before). Only problem was, they hadn't saved the damned software from the printer OR the scanner, so I spent all day yesterday downloading that from random, illegal places, and then drivers, etc. While I was at it, I figured I'd just restore the computer to the factory settings, because somewhere along the line they'd picked up some spyware, too, and it was pissing me off. So after I got all of the software and drivers and shit, I reloaded all of my personal programs onto the computer, and then hooked it all up. Consequently, the computer now thinks a slightly different model printer is hooked up, but it works, so I'm not going enlighten it. I can get to the scanner, but it's a convoluted process, so I only got it done this morning. Just now, in fact.

Whew. Now it's all over, anyway. Thank goodness. Anyway, here's the pic. It's from February 2nd, 1996, according to what I wrote on the back of it at the time.

and dude...it's been so long since i posted a picture, i had to go to the html quickie page to remind myself!
