Subject: Prepare to die of shock (and possibly disgust)...

for I have just bought the dvd box set of Firefly. No, I'm not lying. I've watched the two-part series premiere but have yet to watch any more episodes. While the two-part series premiere didn't leave me with the unique feeling I got when I watched BTVS for the first time, there were aspects I was overly impressed with ie. the cgi for example. Seriously, they're almost movie quality. Okay, not *exactly*, but they're close to being the same quality as some of the cgi you see in movies these days. And while I was never one to point out how fake some of the cgi looked on BTVS/Angel (unlike *some* ppl - I'm talkin' 'bout you, silver. That's if you even read this post) the cgi for Firefly is pretty damn impressive (at least in my non-nitpicky opinion;) Tho since this was only the two-part series premiere that I've seen, it may yet go down hill in the cgi department. We shall see.

In other non-cgi related news, none of the main characters I hate (yayness!)...as yet. Again, we shall see if they gain my love or my hate as the very-short series progresses. I dunno why I'm rambling on about this since a) probably no one will read this post or b) if anyone *does* read this post, they'll be spitting and cursing at the fact that I bought Firefly on dvd when I was among those who were cursing it's name as soon as news of its existance came about (how's *that* for a run-on sentence? Fred would be mildly impressed, I'm sure;) Anywho, this concludes my rather pointless post. If nothing else, I've added yet another post to the ever-so-quiet (re: dead) board.
