The American Queen Pageant Announces the First State Title Holders for 2003


The American Queen Pageant is thrilled to announce that the following women have been selected to represent their states at the National American Queen Pageant in July of 2003. We salute these women who are “beautiful role models” and the first “American Queens“, they are:

Abornita Das, an honor roll student from Mt. Laurel, NJ, is Miss Teen New Jersey.

Michiko McBride, student and mother of one from Everett, Washington is Ms. Washington.

Sandra Davis, from Faber, Virginia who holds a B.A. in Political Science from Mary Baldwin College, is Mrs. Virginia.

Cori Lynn Ross, winner of the Lone Star Music Association Award, and an honor roll student from Fort Worth, Texas is Miss Pre-Teen Texas.

Sheila Scott, from Warwick, and a counselor at the State Adult Department of Corrections is Mrs. Rhode Island.

Amy Schafroth, a Registered Nurse and mother of 3 from Carrollton, is Mrs. Texas.

Vickie Argueta, from Colorado Springs, a Pre-Law Student, and recipient of numerous U.S. Army commendations and awards is Miss Colorado.

Dolores D’Aiello White, an active volunteer for the S.P.C.A. in North Kingstown is Ms. Classic Rhode Island


The American Queen Pageant™ will be announcing the names of the women who have been awarded state titles for 2003 on a bi-weekly basis throughout the end of this year.
