ANYA I told you she’s crazy and I don’t want a crazy slayer in my house Xander (beat) Especially not a crazy slayer who’s supposed to be dead – we’ve done that and it doesn’t fair well. XANDER Ahn, she’s not dead – she’s just (looks out at Faith) having a difficult time right now ANYA Yeah, well if you call pretending your dead, travelling the country and talking to yourself a difficult time then I guess she’s the queen of difficult times (beat) or something! XANDER We’ll give her a few more days okay, then we have to tell Dawn ANYA I know that if my sister didn’t tell me she was alive I’d be really pissed off XANDER You don’t have a sister ANYA Sure not now I don’t – but I did XANDER When did that happen? ANYA About 1, 050 years ago she died – she was eight years older than I was and disturbingly wrinkly when she passed away – looked a bit like old leather. THALIA Fine (gasp) I'm fine EXT – BOSTON STREETS Thalia runs across the street covering her hair with a newspaper as the rain tumbles down onto her – she passes a large black car with tinted windows – as she makes it to the door of the apartment the car’s windows come down to reveal the professor. INT – FAITHS BUILDING Thalia shakes herself off and steps into the unlit apartment jumping back as she flips the light on only to be welcomed by Dawn, Andrew, Connor, Maria and several other people. EXT – ANYAS GARDEN Xander is stood in the middle as the two girls argue it out ANYA Ooh you think you and your leather pants will win Xander back? GREGORY (O.S) Clap clap kiddies CONNOR It’s Seniór assface! GREGORY Charmed (beat) Boys! Connor and Maria back into each other as around a dozen of the men pour out from the bushes. CONNOR (to Maria) Find them! Maria nods at Connor and jets off in the direction of her house, closely followed by Greg. Connor jumps on a short wall and leaps into the air spinning both feet out to the sides knocking two of the men over, as he lands he springs his fist forward winding another. GREGORY Quite the fighter! INT – FAITHS APARTMENT Andrew pulls the curtain back and looks at the fight scene, wide eyed. ANDREW Okay! Manhunt everybody! EXT – FAITHS APARTMENT Connor wall climbs, throwing himself back down into the crowd – when he lands he spots Greg climbing into the van alone, looking extremely pissed as he drives off. Connor takes one final spin knocking down the final fighter before sprinting after the van. INT – MARIAS HOUSE – NIGHT Maria rummages through her cabinet and pulls together the ingredients for a locator spell. MARIA Okay this is easy… GREGORY Not so easy! Gregory grabs Maria round the mouth and pulls her away. LATER…. INT – MARIAS HOUSE – NIGHT Connor enters via the broken door – he runs upstairs checking her room before dashing through the living room – all the time calling her name. He makes it to the kitchen where he finds Maria laying in the corner, blood on her forehead CONNOR Maria! MARIA (weak) He done the spell – he’s going to find her CONNOR Who? He places her head down carefully and runs out of the house pausing outside and sniffing the air, running west – the direction of his scent. CUT TO. EXT – PARK – NIGHT DAWN It’s okay we’ve killed like everything we can do this one guy THALIA Dawn he’s human DAWN Then we beat on him until the cops arrive – how much power can a person have? CRACK – the swing collapses as a flash of lightning throws both Thalia and Dawn to the ground. GREGORY You’d be surprised CUT TO. EXT – ANYAS HOUSE Anya and Xander stand in the door way waving enthusiastically as Faith reluctantly is loaded into the car by Jones JONES Faith leave the nice people to their lives FAITH She started it JONES You stabbed her with a letter opener FAITH She bit me! GREGORY You’re gonna wish you hadn’t done that! He raises his arm and flings a ball of lightning towards both of them – the roll apart as the ground catches fire. INT – BOSTON PRISON – NIGHT Ryan is stood in the shower rubbing shampoo into his hair as he stops, opens his eyes and looks up. EXT – PARK – NIGHT Connor comes charging from nowhere – leaping onto Gregory’s back and turning him over, straddled over him – Connor pounds him in the face repeatedly. Greg takes it for a while before slamming his hand on Connor’s chest and shocking him across the park, crashing into a tree. DAWN Thalia now! Dawn throws herself behind a bush and positions herself cross legged. DAWN Corners come to me THALIA Corner of the west come to me CUT TO. Thalia raises to the skies – she is hovering around four feet in the air as the clouds in the sky swirls savagely – thunder roars and lightning crackles using Thalia’s body as a conductor – Dawns eyes are completely white as she sits almost paralysed. THALIA (Mix w/Ryan, Casey, Darren and Dawn) You don’t own me! Gregory bravely stands and hurls lightning to her THALIA (Mix) You feed me! She raises her hands high to the air throwing a large ball of fire to Gregory who falls to the floor burning… He writhes and screams for minutes on end before standing tall, red eyed and angry THALIA (Mix) Okay, not so human Gregory is now stood as an eight foot, red skinned, horned demon – seriously pissed off. He grabs Thalia by the ankle and swings her through a wooden fence – buried under the rubble. Gregory then begins to march at Dawn who is still behind the bush – he is however stopped in his tracks as lightning begins to gather around him, smashing at the surrounding floor The earth shakes as Thalia rises from the rubble in a trance state THALIA (Mix) You hunt us no more! She slowly raises her arms and tilts her head back as a gale forced wind hurls Gregory onto a snapped pole in the rubble – it goes directly through his chest. The rain and thunder continues until an exhausted Dawn comes out of the trance leaving Thalia falling to the floor by Connor END OF PART THREE INT – GREGS OFFICE – SUNRISE Thalia hobbles through the door striking the guards down she tears the curtain to the side and throws herself down, removing her mothers gag and holding her tight, both crying as they hold each other. DISSOLVE TO. EXT – BOSTON STREET – SUNRISE Connor, Dawn and Thalia hobble along the road holding each other upright CONNOR Happy Birthday THALIA You know – with the exception of the blood, bad hair and aches – it was CONNOR How’s your Mom? THALIA She’s getting check up – I think I’m gonna settle for bath and band aid, If I spend any more time in that hospital they’ll give me my own ward (beat) Which would be cool All three of them sit down on the wall outside the apartment, holding their aching wounds. DAWN You think that’s it? THALIA Dead or not – I think that’s the last my people have seen of Greg and his cronies CONNOR What was the deal anyway? THALIA Racist? CONNOR Heavy Andrew comes scattering out with his hand on his hips less than amused ANDREW You are in so much trouble – you know how hard it is to entertain strangers by yourself?! (pause) But I can see I had a better time than you so I’ll let it go this once DAWN (screaming) Andrew look out! Everyone stands to attention as an evidently weak Greg limps towards them. GREGORY You think you’d get away with that you little bitches! Before Greg can make a move he is flattened and crushed by a speeding and skidding car. It screeches to a halt as Faith steps out Everyone stares back at her jaws wide FAITH He dented my car END.
