Thanks Dave, I will soak it today while at a grad. party. It appears that the aluminum collar protecting the speedo gear tang is pressed into the housing. The gear itself is froze, but still cant remove that aluminum collar to remove the spiral gear. Thanks for the heads up on the spacers, will watch for them if I can get that far. Have a good one.
