Thank you for the reply. I am thinking if I can get a decent motor from Carl Leo, that might be the way to go. Part of me says fix it, but the other part says this motor has given you nothing but trouble. Is that Carl Leo's email? I would love to get in touch with him... again! He was very helpful with diagnosing my problem. We seem to think that the bent selector dogs happened because the bike had a heel-toe shifter and the previous owner rested his foot on it a lot.
