Dave, if you determine its the radio, don't hesitate to send it to Pete for repairs and modification(s). He fixed my radio approx 3yrs ago when I lost the FM side. While he had it, he checked it over and installed a jack which allows me to patch my iPhone thru the speakers/headset. Instrumental when I use the GPS/WAZE navigation app on my phone. The removal is time intensive but Pete has instructions to walk you thru step by step. Can't emphasize enough to label all connectors. Good luck
