You can pull the rear wheel off and that will give you access to the bottom of the tank. Remove the rubber hose off the bottom of the tank that goes to the filter and let it drain. That's one way, however, I found it easier to pull the seats off allowing you to see the top of the tank and the fuel gage sending unit. Remove the sending unit and siphon the gas out. Be cautious as you are dealing with open fuel and obviously don't want to cause sparks. I have a small hand pump that I use but siphoning works. Once you get the fuel out this also alows you to use a flash light and inspect the inside of the tank for rust. When your done reinstall the sending unit refill with gas and check for leaks.
