Yup. You will not see them moving without the engine running. Then you will see them flutter up and down. You can't sync the carbs using these like you can with non CV carbs. You will need a good set of vacuum gauges.
I tend to polish the slides when I take the carbs off but as its such a pita to take them off and reinstall them, That's a once in a while occurrence.
The Voyager is particularly fussy about mucky carbs so use seafoam every so often and run it in the last tank of the season and if poss, use ethanol free gas towards the end of the season to help stop gunk coating carbs.
