Never mind, I guess when I took apart the master clutch cylinder I screwed something up. Shorted the outermost two pins on the clutch handle sensor female connector and it started right up.

The motorcycle also pulled up a little when I started it but released relatively quickly. I am assuming that is the result of my bleeding it and creating a little pressure on the slave cylinder piston.

But it works, so if you see this after searching clutch slip, check your relief port in the master clutch cylinder before you go digging into the clutch itself.
