Speakers are a purely personal choice, and much depends on your geographic location, so please bare this in mind when choosing.
I personally like the Pioneer TS-G1043R and 1044R speakers.. The cones are water resistant BUT the coil isnt.. so putting them on the back , they could fail prematurely. Maribe speakers are much better for weather proofing but their frequency response is pretty poor. The Kenwood 4" have to be driven quite hard to get the sound i like and even then, they are still not as good as the Pioneers. .kicker 4" are reputed to have a better bass response but there is only so much you can squeeze from a 4" speaker.
You can help with the water tightness by re-using the fine gauze from the stock speakers on the new ones..
