$And I don't want to fall to pieces$
Lashes of slender beauty closed over emotion filled pools as a heavy sigh was issued at his silence. Frame stiffening ever so slightly as the male settled beside her, fingers fidgeting for a time till stilled by that of his own. For a moment she saw hope, yet just like a rock through a stain-colored-glass, her heart shattered yet again at his words and actions. He was actually starting to blame this on her! Shock was the only way to explain the way the sun kissed angel felt, it was as if the very breath within her had been knocked out by some unseen force, his tears could not match her own, though she refused to let her own fall. Lips pressed firmly together, steeling herself against the thrill his whispered breath gave her. He may be whispering sweetly, yet his was attacking more viciously then she’d ever thought possible.
Even Brillian had not received such verbal lashings as she was, yet Bri had made it a habit to hand them out, instead of receive them. Alicia had even been on the receiving end of a few. Yet this was beside the point. Optics wide with the still echoing words within her mind, Alicia stood. Gaze rather blank, emotion wore raw upon her sleeve, yet it was her actions that suddenly became unstable. With a swiftness few had thought she possessed the blonde did the one thing she could think of. She slapped him…hard. The sound echoed in the still room, sending the few eavesdropping pixies into flight and off to hide as the anger boiled within, thought it drowned under that of the pain once more. How could he? How could he say such things, when he had not been around to keep the flame alive? She would have stated more but at that very moment something changed…
The room became slightly chilled, yet it was not the temperature that caught Alicia’s attention, twas the aura and ghostly sense of someone else presence that sent a chill down her spin for a moment. The crash of the vase, did not cause the blonde to flinch, in fact it wasn’t a surprise at all. It had been Brillian’s at the time of her existence; it was her right to destroy it. Optics turned from that of Zeth, slightly to the side of him she now stood. Gaze wandering as if seeking the source though already she knew where it was…it was everywhere. The room screamed the being of Bri and for once, Alicia was not afraid. Optics squinted in amused anger as the jewelry box went whizzing within the air and straight for Zeth, it was a dead shot, but amazingly it never landed. Time seemed to freeze, though in truth twas only the box, as a rather annoyed yet hurting Alicia spoke. “Really I should let her hit you…after all you deserve it.” Words spoken as the box floated a second longer then dropped to the floor with a resounding thud. Gaze turning to the male fully once more as she spoke, “I have done nothing but loved you, and this is how you repay me? By blaming me, accusing me of something I cannot fix, you want to fix it Zeth? You want to fix something you created…” Words firmly stated, though they faltered as a laugh was given at Bri’s little image. Dial shook as if to say a silent no, as once more she continued her bold statements. “You can only fix it by loving me, truly loving me for who and what I am…just like I began to love you, despite the rumors and truths I heard. If you can not do this, then you were never meant to be with me in the first place.” Words were strongly stated, harsh, much like his own…but if he’d wanted a spark, he’d gotten a flame, not the fire, but it was building. Part of the old sassiness of Alicia was back. Happy Darlin’.
