At first glance it was easy to mistake the blonde female as mere human, a second would grant you the understanding that she was not. Not in mind or in body. Her mind, strengthened from the ripe young age of three had always been granted the ability to read minds. Human and supernatural – of course the later usually came with permission but lesser souls she had pried within without warning or consent. Her body while aged to the year twenty-five it would never grow past. No, vampire death had not taken her or the bite of a werewolf, twas simply an ill taste of fate – courtesy of the woman of topic – Brillian. Shopping put away Alicia turned her full attention towards the houseguests and the man of the home, Zeth. A quick glance confirmed what her senses had already noted – Lucian as Zeth had just called him – was staring at her chest. Giving a polite smile the blonde immortal turned her gaze of two colors away and onto the female now. She’d been her first and from the looks of things was the reason Lucian was here again, though perhaps not as he seemed keen on delivering a message or proposal – one that Zeth seemed ill to acknowledge now or perhaps within her presence? Zeth’s bullet like stare had not gone unnoticed but like him she decided to withhold her tongue till later – there was no point letting a still fragile marriage crumble before eyes that need not see it.
She was upset, Tarot that is, upset that attention had been diverted from her – it was obvious to see. A watcher of emotions the petite blonde gave a soft smile and quietly brushed past Zeth, allowing her hand to touch his shoulder, as she moved towards the sink. There she managed to pull out two glasses of water – one for each of the slightly hung over personas. Pouring them while introductions were made Alicia smiled again and nodded. Turning to Tarot and handing her the drink as she spoke, “Then let me say welcome to my home, I hope you found everything you needed for your stay.” She knew the other would, she’d made sure the secondary bedroom and bathroom had been fully stocked – afraid she’d have had to use it till Zeth and her had made amends, something that happened sooner than expected, but she was grateful for. Again she turned towards Lucian, ignoring Zeth’s thought about his car – she only knew he’d bought one not that he’d never let her drive it. So that’s where he’d disappeared to yesterday. “Should I say pleasure or perhaps I should allow you to do that instead?” Slight remark spoken as she chuckled at Tarot’s question of before came back to mind. “Brillian’s…more than a witch though dark magic perhaps would be her fortune.” She spoke this already sensing she was not to suppose to know what gardening meant, but Bri’ had never seemed the outdoorsy type before; she doubted that’d changed now. Especially from how she’d looked in the mirror no more than a week ago when another of her brattlings had paid a visit.e
“Tell me Lucian other than doing Brillian’s dirty work and eyeballing my chest – what business do you have here.” She was more than happy to let the gaze on her chest go back to Tarot, though since she had the young man’s attention she might as well use it to her advantage. Frame shifting, taking the other glass with her – as she came to stand beside Zeth holding out the glass for him to take – this whole house was full of creepers of one sort or another – helps when your last name is Baslazari.
