The sound of glass shattering against the tile hurt worse than the self inflicted injury. Leave it to Briallan to turn something into a bad thing and pissing Zeth off. They were both volatile creatures; prone to setting each other off. Her fingers curling around the fabric of the fluffy towel, Briallan stood dripping cool water and her own blood as she left the tub, stepping on a piece of glass as she did so. It hurt, but not as much as his distaste for her hurt. If he found her so repulsive, why did come to her? Why did he care? Damn him. Damn her. Damn. Tracking and dripping blood as she fled from him, her bubble bath coated foot slid across the smooth tile, sending her body weight back as she fell, smacking her head hard on the sink and back upon the shattered glass. Aren�t accidents great?
