We are well Lane. We live extremely close to MCAS Miramar (former home of Top Gun) and we have fully loaded F-16s flying overhead 24/7 - a bit disconcerting and comforting at the same time. This still all seems so surrealistic. Three of the hijackers lived around the corner from my mom-in-law - we had to drive past there 2 weekends ago and it was really kind of eerie. I know it is hard to be constantly reminded. At least here, we are a bit separated. Although, that Atta and his cousin lived in our town and then moved up to Venice, which is not too far, either. **sigh** I try not to think I might have passed him in the store or at the post office.

Anyway, the family here is fine. Today is our 21st Anniversary. We are going out with friends on Sat. to celebrate and getting a sitter..woohoo!!

I totally agree with you Lane. These anthrax incidents, as reported today, are pretty scary as well.

I'm glad to hear you are all well. Happy Anniversary to you both - 21 years - wow! Kevin and I are married 19 years this year - time sure flies! Enjoy your special evening out!

We are doing OK. Its kind of tough listing to the news reports, but I guess life goes on. I spent last week decorating the Christmas trees at our Home Store. They are bringing the Holiday season sooner and sooner. My friends and I are worried about taking our kids out for Halloween trick-or-treat this year with everything going on. So we decided to give them a party instead. It is strange how this has changed everyday life.
