Tonja Walker will reprise the role of Alex Olanov Hesser, whom she played on and off from 1990 - '97, and Laurence Lau. who made soap magic with Kim Delaney as AMC's unforgettable twosome Greg Nelson and Jenny Gardner, will take over the role of Sam from Kale Browne.� "I'll be working with Phil (Carey, Asa) Pat Elliott (Renee), and , I think Jimmy (DePaiva, Max)," Walker reveals to SOW.� "I'm so thrilled to becoming back; it should be some really fun and exciting stuff - with a neat surprise."� When last seen, Alex had been exposed as the killer in the "Who Shot Carlo?" mystery.� It turned out that Mortimer, Carlo's identical twin, was really the victim, which begs the question: Will Thom Christopher (Carlo/Mortimer, now Col. Dax on GL) return as well?� "Thom and I had such a great time together," Walker says.� "It would be wonderful to work with him again, but I really don't know what they've got planned, or if Thom's even been approached."� At press time, a spokesperson for Christopher could not be reached for comment.� Lau last appeared on daytime as AW's Jamie Frame, from 1986 - '90.� Browne's last airdate will be April 11.
