starlight, starbright first star i see tonight wish i may wish i might that my dream comes true tonight ______________________________ Soft golden light flickered across the rolling valley hills and dips, highlighting the tops of trees and figurines that had slowly begun to dot the landscape. For a moment it fell across a brilliant gold ballerina who had danced her way back into the territory. Green eyes swept the landscape with a bright smile seeing at least one familiar face already, Battlecry. She sighed happily glad to be home, but a shadow briefly crossed her eyes. As always with this place came memories. Lots of good, but sad ones as well. Her lost lovers, her lost children, past ghosts that often crept into her mind. She shook them away with a slow smile, the past was the past and now was the present. She glanced behind her for a moment, looking for her daughter Moon Maiden, the chestnut mare would appear soon enough she knew. Her gaze swept around also seeking the familiar face of Moonlight. She knew it would appear soon enough. For now, she was happy enough to see the home she knew so well alive once more. ______________________________ S T A R L I G H T |
