Another Annual Dinner over and the awards passed out and received with dignity. A quick review shows that there was no joy for young George , despite his efforts with the bat all season, and his fine dinner suit. He lost out to Gaz Lee , who also won one of the 100 club draws and so will hopefully purchase a shirt and tie for next year >>

Second team bowler went to Chucker Symo ... even though the author once again outclassed him in the averages ... It turned into Symos night as he gained the Bodicote Bitter moment , for the snake bite, and won the double rollover 100 draw. Again , hopefully he will purchase a tie for next year. I realsie he didnt wear one because he would probably have throttled himself putting it on. !!!

So George ... next year , no tie and you are bound to win.

The barbarian ( batting ) and Bucks ( I will run you out ) for bowling were the well deserved winners of the First 11 awards.

Top marks must go to the caterers for the top class nosh .. I hope all those who went for a lock in have survived.

Another season over , time to buy the new gear for next season.

Will we be putting an order in for team shirts for next season as they make good Christmas Pressies....
