What interests me is how can Wimbledon relocate to somewhere like Milton Keynes and still retain their name of Wimbledon, it makes a mockery of being called Wimbledon when you're playing over 90 miles away, you might as well be called Milton Keynes Rovers or something similar, where's the element of true local support?, I am a Pompey fan and can you imagine us relocating to Southampton for instance well I can't imagine the fans never mind the local populus wanting us to remain as Portsmouth FC when we are playing in a totally different city/environment. It makes a nonsense of cultural identity, doesn't it? Or am I missing the point, if I am please tell me.
