  • A 7:00 PM start on a wednesday night leaves out a lot of our student fan base. Wednesday night is the time when a lot of students have their night calsses, which for FCRH begin at 6:00 and end at 8:20 and for CBA begin at 6:30 and end at 9:15. Considering this, by pushing back the start time by an extra half hour to 7:30, these students will atleast be able to catch a good portion of the second half. It seems to me, as a student leader of the Sixth Man Club, that the students and Alumni are in agreement in pushing back the start time. This would absolutely boost the attendance of the students through the matter of convenence. I also have no problem with starting the game at 8:00 as well, I don't know if it is too late for others who would be travelling to the game, but it seems like it would provide the opportunity to grab a bite to eat out on Arthur Ave. as opposed to grabbing a Sodexho Dog or waiting an hour at Dagger's. • I take many CBA night classes and they almost always end before 8:30. Never have I been in a class until 9:15, and some nights we're usually out by 8. I wouldn't mind leaving a 6:30 class more than half of the way through for a 7:30 start to the game, but 7:00 is just too early. I'm all for pushing it back. • I agree, a 7:30pm start would be much easier for students to catch a good portion of the games. I often had to skip out of quite a few CBA Wednesday night classes at the break to catch the 2nd half of the games during my time at FU. (NT) -- Air Hej '02, Tue April 26, 2005 20:58:54
