I think 7:30pm is the ideal weeknight starting time. Saturday and Sunday games a 2pm start makes sense - it gives people more time to run weekend errands, etc. so they can relax and enjoy the game and then have an evening dinner on Arthur Avenue. Some game starting times will be dictated by TV scheduling, and hopefully this will increase now that we are improving. -- Fordham Rams Basketball Message Board

I've been advocating a later start for years. Even 7:15 would make a difference for some. But 7:30 makes the most sense. Also I'd like to see Saturday afternoon games start anywhere from 2 to 4; it would allow people more time to do other things early in the day and plan a dinner out afterward. - Agreed on 7:30pm during the week, definitely makes the most sense considering how far we're hoping fans will travel. As for Saturday times I think 2pm is just too early for most fans (except students of course). A 4pm start time would allow for fans to do their errands and studying during the day, finish the afternoon off with a game, and still get out to the restaurants and/or downtown. A 7pm start on a Saturday night would be good for a few big games that we are hoping to turn into really big marketable events (complete with dinner and reception packages) and perhaps even TV coverage.
