Subject: Rivals is actually not that accurate at all. The bulk of my recruiting info comes from personal contacts, some of whom are writers for these sites. Even they admit that info on recruiting is regularly exaggerated and manipulated, depending on whom one is speaking with. Coaches have a tendency to skew info also. It all has to be taken as what it generally is: hearsay and some rumor mixed with facts.
