Thanks for your suggestions....we've done the rice, pumpkin, and now I've discovered he really enjoys small white potatoes with fresh cooked chicken. This seems to be working. When Diesel wants to play he swipes his back feet like a bull would....my husband tried to eat a piece of chicken out of the pot and Diesel was barking and swiping his feet as if to say "Hey Daddy that's my chicken!" Thanks again for your help....IRene
