I know that doing the two Avengers movies was a tough haul for him but financially it was the right thing to do at this stage of his career. Perhaps going for the smaller films and comics or books will help keep the spark alive but not be so damn tiring for him.

I agree that Buffy will probably always be his best original character. Ensemble-wise Firefly is the best and I somehow don't want any more live action versions so that it will always stay that way.
