I'm thinking that whatever the gag was he start out with got lost along the way. Seriously, I am curious who is waiting in the wings to bring some sanity back to this race.

Yeah, we'll be at war within a year of his election..... -- Lij, Thursday, November 26, 10:46:43am (adsl-108-67-88-27.dsl.bltnin.sbcglobal.net/108.67.88.27)
The last time that was said about a US Presidential candidate he lost. But then he - Barry Goldwater - was up against an incumbent - Lyndon Baines Johnson.
I kinda hope that Trump is the Republican candidate.

Or maybe he's enjoying wearing Palin's clown shoes. -- AS, Saturday, November 28, 05:28:08pm (d154-20-56-53.bchsia.telus.net/154.20.56.53)
So the new GQ with Obama on the cover is sitting on my dining room table. I felt like reading something different and picked it up today. The article about Barack mostly goes into his life behind the scenes, how things are going with two teenage girls in the House, etc. He comes across like he usually does, a quiet and witty man who tries to see the gentle humour in his life.
There is also (unbeknownst to me) an article with Trump where he mostly comes across like he always has-a self promoting individual with not a lot of importance to say. He even admits that if he did become President, he'd have to learn to talk differently. (I am thinking more they should just cut power to his mic) He complains about the wig SNL made him ear and says he has no idea if "Black Lives Matter" is really a big thing or not.
Well done, GQ. Well done!

Buffoon.
But what does that make all the people who are going to vote for him?

Scared of anything they don't see looking into a mirror? -- AS, Saturday, November 28, 06:07:52pm (d154-20-56-53.bchsia.telus.net/154.20.56.53)
Yes, Buffon works well as a descriptor. Bully is another good 'b' word you can use.
