Subject: Anyone else encounter something like this?

In Djose Temple, if you return after Guadosalam (When I did, it may be earlier), in the room on the right of the Cloister of Trials, there's a guy practicing the Jecht Shot like the Aurochs did on the S.S. Winno after you did it. Try to sign him and you get this:
"Blitz Fan Lv. 1
Name: Sonio
Favorite Team: Kilika Beasts
He appears to be just an ordinary fan.
You cannot sign him to a contract"

What the slag?
