Subject: My opinion of you has forever been ruined, Amanda. You, afraid of a little yardwork? Good grief... I don't just do yardwork, I create more. =^-^= I told my mom that I was going to build and plant her a raised rosegarden, and that's what I'm doing this year, heck, I'm doing so this week.
In reply to: Amanda Vegita-Williams Hashiba Curtindolph 's message, "Acctually, yeah. I need to have your number for emergancy meetings and the like. That, and for when I need help with yardwork. (Sighs) My hands are never gonna forgive me. So much mud under my nails, so much scrubbing off of cauluses..." on 20:34:02 04/06/03 Sun

I just don't understand how people can't like gardening and yardwork... Sure, some of it's a pain, like weeding and raking, but it's so much fun to sit there and garden or... What's the problem with a little dirt under your nails, or a few calluses on your hands? It's the wonder of seeing something grow, you don't CARE that you're dirty, you don't notice that you've been 'grubbing in the dirt' all day, you just love and are overcome by the beauty all around you. Or is it just me...? Perhaps it's the way I see the world, and no one else sees it that way... One must look at the promises inherent in everything, and perhaps that is too difficult for many in this world...
