 She smiles slightly, the warmth once more returning to her features. Motherhood suited her well. She nodded slightly at her words. Today is fine. It'll give me a break. She looks at Arjon, then back to Kahlan and smiles.

Arjon stares at the two women a moment a second before stepping forward and bumping Kahlan's hand with his head, his ultimate sign that he accepted her and respected her.
