I was at Sub-Sector level, but once a month members of my team would come into MACV Compound for the weekend or a few days. Late 65 we had a couple of Air Force Medics TDY to us.
I can only remember one, SGT McClary. He went on several ops with us and treated wounded under fire, but was denied any recognition for it.
Sorry I can't help with your years, I went back to visit in 2005. I went back to Vinh Long, Tam Binh and Can Tho. The MACV compound is now a hotel again. It was several things among them Government offices. I have been in contact with a crew chief that was at Vinh Long airfield.
