My dad--Al Quick of Rock Falls, IL--was in Tay Ninh and Cambodia in 1970 and was exposed to AO. He had cloracne for years after his return. I was born in 1974 with a deformed hand and a couple other defects common in children of parents exposed to dioxin. I visited Vietnam in 2008, and I can tell you the folks there have it far worse. I've been researching this topic for several years and should have a book finished soon. Until then, does this story sound familiar?

Cheers,
Ben

PS: My son and I will be in the Rock River Valley over the 4th if you're around. Maybe we can meet up.
