I was Ramsun 7th from 73-74 and they still regularly sprayed...everyone knew what it was but no reason to fear it because they never told us different...I was QRF and we crawled around the perimater and sat in fowholes at night and got rashes on exposes skin and when it was raining/wet it penetrated the wet clothing and caused body (rather than localized) rashes...I have growth on the ear, cyst from stomach removed 1 yr after returning statside, had cyst from throat removed, son who had brain surgery for cysts and tumor removal..Coincidence ? ?? I knew no one who did NOT fly via Saigon with as much as days down in Saigon waiting for connecting flight to Thai assignment. I went via Tiger to Saigon,,,down for 16 hours, theb flight Bankock ... then waited day for RU-21 Recon transport (via Cambodia air space for intell)to RTAFB (Udorn), then via Jeep with COL Duane F Pins to Ramasun (7th RRFS)...at least we had building and showers by now so we could get that crap off us.....
