Subject: Looking for Marines (1st Battalion, 2nd Division, 4th Platoon) from Charlie Company that were at the fall of Siagon!!

My husband, Nelson (Joe), was (or should I say IS...once a Marine ALWAYS a Marine!!),a Marine and was in-country during the fall of Siagon. Tour was 1974-75. I am searching for any other Marines that were there during that time. I'm trying to put together a jurnal/scrapbook that includes any information that I can find pertaining to buddies, missions, etc. It's very hard for him to talk about certain things that took place; and that is very understandable. He is Navajo and that in cunjunction with being a Viet Nam and serving in the National Guard as an MP several years after being state-side is why I wish to put together the journal. I feel EVERY vets story is important and must NEVER be forgotten. To forget these stories, however diffucult and hard to put on paper they may be, would be an insult to their service. I want to keep this journal in the family...generation to generation. Any Marines, especialy 1st Battalion, 2nd Division, 4th Platoon, Charlie Company please feel free to e-mail me with your stories. Hopefully you served with my husband! Thank you !!
