Subject: POW/MIA Braclet

My father gave each of us in my family a POW/MIA Bracelet to wear during the Vietnam War. Mwasy father in the Marine Corps and we all knew the importance of the war, and how horrible or men were treated when they got home. We have found out about the men on all the braclets but one, and cannot find out what happened to this man. The braclet reads "LCDR ALLEN CARPENTER 11-1-66". Thank you so much for any help. It is real important to me but also to my children for I have passed down what it was like during those times, so history will not be forgotten.
