Subject: searching for Army buddies 1971-1977

Searching for old Army buddies stationed at Fort Jackson 1971-1971 Basic Training.
Fort Polk Louisiana 1971-1971 for field telephone communication training. MOS 36 K.
Fort Hood, Texas 1972-1975 1st Cavalry Division Artillery.
Schweinfurt Germany 1975-1977 3rd Infantry Division, Mechanized.

I'd like to locate anyone stationed at any of these bases during the periods I've mentioned who were serving with me and knew me or who were at these bases and are aware of asbestos exposures of any kind. I have contracted asbestos while serving and the VA is denying my claim. Anyone who also has asbestos or you know anyone who lived in the old wooden WWII era barracks or worked in the old buildings and can recall construction inside your barracks Cieling or any others, can recall exposed asbestos wrapped pipes or who also had to maintain vehicles which included changing brakes, clutches, linings, belts. Please contact me. I need letters supporting my claim of work conducted in the ceilings of the barracks we lived and slept in. There were no protective barriers etc. We weren't assigned to the motor pool, but because we were mechanized we were required to maintain our vehicles. Please contact me asap! Would love to hear from you even if you have nothing for me, but we served together.

Also searching for any of the soldiers who were ordered onto the firing range at Ft Hood and as a result we were caught in artillery fire from tanks. I was driving.

Anyone stationed at Schweinfurt, Germany and guarded the Czech /German border. If you ever experienced the huge German shepherds tied to runners and used to attack anyone attempting to cross to freedom. Please contact me!
Thanks! God bless!
